Italian American Heritage in Buffalo
and Western New York

The Second Year for the Italian Heritage Exhibit

Last year’s Heritage tent was a great success - and this year we have even more planned to help educate and enrich those touring the Festival.

Be sure to visit the lower level of the Faith Good Shepard Chapel (1237 Hertel Ave., between Traymore &Commonwealth Streets within the Festival boundaries) to see the Exhibit. We’ll have computer stations available, guest speakers, graphic displays, student projects, info on our Italian Sister City (see below) and much, much more. If you visit the Festival - don’t miss out!

Our Official Sister City in Italy!
Torremaggiore, Puglia in the province of Foggia (a city of about 20,000) was officially named Buffalo’s Sister City in 2004. After a few years of Buffalo High School Students visiting the city, the relationship grew to a political and cultural connection. Olive Oil, and other products, produced in Torremaggiore is available at Premier Gourmet.
